Near to the border town of Peebles, yet hidden away within the Glentress Forest is the relaxing Forest Holidays location which unsurprisingly is called Glentress Forest. However, due to its tranquil and peaceful environment and surroundings, it is ideal for a complete break from the fast pace of life we are all used to.
There are seven different accommodation types to choose from all of which include their own private hot tub which are seemingly engulfed by the forest trees themselves.
For those who maybe travelling with a wheelchair, the adapted Silver Birch cabin includes excellent kitchen facilities, a wet room and a very useful and impressive hot tub hoist. This is a 2 bedroomed accommodation and has two car parking spaces.
Solo travellers and couples looking for a relaxing and romantic break could check out the 1 bedroom Golden Oak Hideaway. Whilst those who maybe travelling as part of a larger extended family group may wish to checkout the Unfurl Collection of cabins which come as a choice of up to 5 bedroomed accommodations and include luxuries such as a log burner, barbecues and outdoor decking areas with pergolas.

Facilities at Glentress Forest
Depending on what sort of holiday break you wish for, there is plenty to consider onsite. Consider the Tweed Valley Time Tail which is a relatively short walk which has amazing views over Peebles.

Things to do near Glentress Forest

Go Ape are nearby and it’s here you can zoom along on an exciting zip wire high up in the trees, or tackle the treetop challenge which can take the best part of a morning or afternoon depending on how your day looks.
There’s plenty of walking trails about including accessible walking routes so be sure to pack your rucksacks and hiking boots. Or if climbing is preferable?
