The park is situated at Bowleaze Cove at the eastern end of Weymouth beach. Bowleaze Cove is a sand and pebble beach and is sheltered making it ideal for families with young children. This is a dog friendly beach with a shop and café right by the beach and is literally opposite the entrance to Waterside Holiday Park. At the other end is Weymouth Beach, in our opinion and of others, the beach with the best sand in the country, it is amazingly fine sand. Behind Weymouth Beach is the town, everything you want is here and if you venture off the main high street, there are some great shops down the little alleys.

Swanage is a really nice beach with a promenade backed by a Victorian seaside town that is typical of many that dot along the Dorset and South Devon coastline. The beach is gently shelved although does get some decent sized waves and is popular as a beach destination and for launching sea craft. As the beach backs onto the town, there is every facility that you will ever need nearby. The beach is patrolled by RNLI lifeguards during the summer months and also has a dog ban from May to September. This is a great beach to visit, ideal for all families with younger and older children. Swanage Coastal Park is about one mile from this beautiful beach in Dorset.
Swanage Coastal Park offers the best of both worlds really, it sits above and on the edge of the town and backs on to the country side, so you get a beach holiday with a countryside and quiet feel. This is a relaxed park, hilly so not really suitable for those that don’t like slopes, and has lots of character. The vans and lodges are well spaced out which adds to the laid back feel and the accommodation is high quality. The park itself has limited facilities but there are shops, restaurants in the town which is a short walk away.

Littlesea Holiday Park is on the edge of Weymouth looking out over Chesil Beach in a beautiful location around 2 miles from the beautiful Brewers Quay area near to the centre of the town. This is a classic beach holiday park in a great location with some cracking beaches nearby.
Weymouth Beach, if you have never been there, is really nice, lots going on and the sand is stunning. Chesil Beach is a beautiful walk and there is a great circle, taking the beach one way and the coastal path the other. Chesil is actually a pebble and shingle beach, not really ideal for a relaxing sunbathe unless you take some deck chairs but a stunning walk where you are open to the elements.
