From Paignton Sands with Paignton Pier, back by a plethora of amusement arcades, cafes, restaurants, places to buy buckets and spades, everything you need is here! Then there is Goodrington Beach, iconic with the steam railway running behind it and the north beach is dog friendly all year around. The Quaywest Water Park is here as well, a fantastic water park if you want some great flumes to keep the kids busy. Broadsands Beach is a short drive away, it tends to be slightly quieter in the middle of summer with beach huts along the promenade and is a red sandy beach, ideal if you want to escape some of the crowds!

There is loads to do in Paignton, the waterpark is great fun, a day out on the Dartmouth Steam Railway is really nice, Dartmouth is such a pretty place to visit. You also have Paignton Zoo and the harbour area along with several events throughout the year.
