Sandwich Leisure Holiday Park is a bit like the polar opposite to Seaview, set in Sandwich about 1km to Sandwich Bay right on the edge of town but with easy access to the Royal St George’s Golf Club, perfect for golfers. This is an independently owned holiday park and usually has a small number of static caravans for sale in a popular location. The park lets static caravans and also has touring and camping on site. It is far more serene, quiet and is in a great location, possibly considered more up market than other locations.
Sandwich Leisure Holiday Park is a park and well worth a look if you want an independent park with a couple of the country’s best golf clubs nearby. The park offers Wi-Fi and has a Pavilion Bar open at weekends during the main holiday season and there is also a children’s play area. This park is ideal if you want to buy a static caravan in a quality location, beautiful, natural surroundings and on an independent park that is very well presented.

The only real drawback of Seaview Holiday Park is that there is no indoor swimming pool, there is an outdoor pool and a paddling pool, a park of this size really should have an indoor pool and Park Holidays should sort that out. Everything else is here though, entertainment complex with nightly fun and shows, bar and restaurant, adventure playground, football pitch, amusement arcade and the park is right by the beach, no need to drive anywhere. The Dog & Duck Leisure Park is a holiday park that is a little bit different from other parks in many ways and really deserves a mention. The park is set in the grounds of the Dog & Duck Inn on the banks of the River Stour near Canterbury in Kent at Plucks Gutter. That all combines to make a park that is something different, combine that with the fact that you are on your own in stunning countryside, you can go paddle boarding down the River Stour and even moor your boat up and you have a holiday park that is stunning.
The real feature that makes this park stand out is that it sits in and enhances the beautiful natural environment and we are all for promoting parks that work with nature. The park is situated in Seasalter to the east of Whitstable in Kent, a short drive from the A299 which connects to the M2 that takes you all the way to Dartford! If you want to buy a static caravan on a park with very easy access from London, this is a perfect choice, one of the easiest parks to get to from London with Whitstable right on your door step.
Alberta Holiday Park is not the largest park, which is nice in some ways, it is also a quiet park on the edge of Seasalter but a short walk to range of pubs and restaurants and Preston Parade, a really short drive to the seaside. It has an outdoor pool, playground, amusement arcade, entertainment venue with a bar and a restaurant and is also dog friendly. Being near the main A road, it is also a great location for the many tourist attractions that this part of Kent has to offer. We like this park because we think it is ideal as a bolt hole if you live in London, an ideal getaway without the stress of driving hundreds of miles!
