Appletree Holiday Park was formerly known as Boston West Holiday Park and is now part of the Away Resorts group of parks, they also own Tattershall Lakes and have a great reputation. This park is a big alternative to the two parks above in that it has 150 acres but currently is relatively small compared to the other parks so there is a lot of space for you to explore and a 9 hole golf course. This park is being developed into a luxury park with a host of new facilities including the golf course, a new driving range, refurbished restaurant and bar and play area.
There is more to come at Appletree Holiday Park with more investment in a new swimming pool, sports court and a lot more. Southview Holiday Park is a Parkdean Resorts holiday park and is situated on the outskirts of Skegness, we had to have one park in Skegness in the list. The park is about a 10 minute drive to the beach and the attractions in Skegness like the Pleasure Beach, pier and the shops. As it is on the edge of the town, it tends to be quieter although the main road into town is right by the park.
As you would expect from a Parkdean holiday park, there are plenty of activities including crazy golf, an outdoor climbing wall, high ropes, a sports dome with lots of games and an arts and crafts den. There is an indoor pool with a flume and a large entertainment area and with shows and even an outdoor canopy, great for outdoor shows in the summer. The park also has fishing lakes and a restaurant along with more facilities than we can list here.
