Filey is a small seaside town on the coast of North Yorkshire, backed by a promenade and grand Victorian houses, Filey is a popular tourist destination primarily because of the beach. This long sandy stretch of beach is almost 6 miles long at low tide, plenty of space for families to enjoy the sand and the sea. The beach is pretty long and the town is not that big so even in the summer holidays, there is usually plenty of space s long as it isn’t high tide to grab some sand!

The area is popular with surfers although the waves rarely get big in the summer so ideal for families with kids of all ages.
