Holiday Parks in Filey

Filey is a small seaside town on the coast of North Yorkshire, backed by a promenade and grand Victorian houses, Filey is a popular tourist destination primarily because of the beach. This long sandy stretch of beach is almost 6 miles long at low tide, plenty of space for families to enjoy the sand and the sea. The beach is pretty long and the town is not that big so even in the summer holidays, there is usually plenty of space s long as it isn’t high tide to grab some sand!

Filey is a pretty little town, welcoming with a number of shops and retains a lot of its character from years gone past. The location is great for a beach holiday as you have Filey Beach plus Reighton Sands to the south which is also a long sandy beach with plenty of space and Filey Bay in between. The beaches are really popular for swimming and surfing, there is an RNLI Lifeguard at the main Filey beach but not on the other beaches and this beach is dog friendly all year around. The area is popular with surfers although the waves rarely get big in the summer so ideal for families with kids of all ages.
