Ceredigion Wales
New Quay is not to be confused with Newquay in Cornwall, this is a little gem of a town on the coast of West Wales in Cardigan Bay. The beach is a horse shoe shape with a small harbour to the southern end where the boats are moored and the majority of the sunbathing happens to the northern end of this delightful, picturesque and golden sandy beach. This is a family based town, really quite elegant with lots on offer and the wildlife on the coastline around New Quay is amazing. There is a lot to do here from coasteering to wildlife cruises along the coastline, it is great for walking and cycling and anything to do with the beach!
Quay West Holiday Park really could not be better positioned, right in the middle of the beach making this our top choice for a beach side holiday park in Wales. Quay West Holiday Park is part of the Haven Group of Holiday Parks and you get a family based holiday park with all of the facilities and entertainment on site. This includes an entertainment venue, indoor and outdoor pools, lots of places to eat and drink and lots of activities and things to do on site throughout the day and night including a kids club. We love the park but we really think that New Quay in Ceredigion is really special, such a stunningly beautiful part of the world making it one of our best holiday parks in Wales.

Barmouth, Gwynedd, North Wales
Barmouth Bay Holiday Park is set to the north of Barmouth in Tal-y-Bont in Gwynedd with easy access to Snowdonia and is within the Snowdonia National park and is one of our best Away Resorts holiday parks. There is direct access to the beach from the park, by direct access we mean a very short walk across the sand dunes and you are right on the beach. This is shingle at high tide but when the tide is out, there is a great expanse of sand that leads all the way to Llanaber. The beach is so big that it never really gets crowded, even though it is one of the most popular beaches in Wales and on good days, you can get some great surf here as well.
Barmouth Bay Holiday Park is literally a stone’s throw from the beach, set with marshland to the side, a wildlife haven. The park has an indoor pool, adventure playground, sports court and launderette but there is no pub or restaurant or entertainment venue here, this is all about the beach! It is a family holiday park that is set with a stunning backdrop of Snowdonia and the beach is the main draw, perfect for a family holiday on a relaxing park that is informal and friendly.

Tenby, Pembrokeshire
Kiln Park Holiday Centre is set just a short walk from Tenby south beach, if you have never been here before, it is one of the best beaches in the country in our opinion. Penally beach, south beach and castle beach are all one long stretch of sand for the majority of the tide and this is simply just one stunning beach! The sand is super fine, perfect for sand castles and the sea is crystal clear, you can get some decent waves as well and have great fun playing in the sea. This beach is patrolled by RNLI lifeguards during the summer months and there are no dog restrictions, it is just an amazing beach with plenty of space and perfect for families!
Kiln Park Holiday Centre is just perfect for a family holiday here, there is a sister park nearby but this is the choice park to stay with a very short walk down to the beach. As a Haven park, you get all of the facilities and they are really good at Kiln Park Holiday Centre. This includes and outdoor pool with a splash area and slides, ideal for a summer holiday. The large indoor pool also has slides and a separate pool for toddlers. Amongst the many other activities, there is ten pin bowling, tennis, archery, bungee trampolining, junior segways, archery, crazy golf and lots more. The new Marina bar and stage is the main place for evening entertainment and a great restaurant. This park has it all and Tenby is just a great place for a family holiday with amazing beaches.

Carmarthen, Wales
If you like cars, you will know Pendine Sands, featured many times in Top Gear and the host beach for a long list of motoring world record attempts, this is a 7 mile stretch of sand backed by sand dunes, a truly stunning beach and it has to be featured here. Pendine Sands Holiday Park is to the western end of the beach, near to the village and a very short walk down to the beach. The sheer length of this beach means that it is never really crowded and the sand is very flat, perfect for sand castles and families with younger children. This is a dog friendly beach with no restrictions and there is an RNLI lifeguard service on the beach, just a great beach for families.
Pendine Sands Holiday Park is a Parkdean Resorts holiday park with all of the frills including an indoor pool, a beech racer bar and grill and a beer garden along with a full entertainment program at the Sands restaurant and showbar. There are two adventure playgrounds and a shop on site so you have everything that you need. Saundersfoot is nearby and Tenby is the nearest main town, well worth a visit as there are great beaches here as well. A great holiday park by an iconic beach and ideal if you like Parkdean holiday parks.

Greenacres Holiday Park backs onto Black Rock Sands in the village of Morfa Bychan in Gwynedd. Black Rock Sands is a 2 mile stretch of sandy beach with rock pools at the northern end of the beach and the estuary to Afon Dwyryd at the opposite end. The beach is backed by sand dunes that separate Greenacres Holiday Park from the beach, again, the holiday park is literally a stones throw from the beach! This is a sandy beach and is very flat making it perfect for families with children but there is no lifeguard service here as it is considered to be a safe beach. The northern end of the beach has dog restrictions during the summer month, the southern end is dog friendly. A great beach for families, especially those with younger children as the access it very easy and it is great for building sand castles!
Greenacres Holiday Park is a Haven park with a great range of facilities, ideal for families. There is an indoor pool with a toddlers pool and an outdoor splash zone open in the summer. There is a new amusement arcade and a range of activities, similar to many Haven parks that includes archery, bungee trampolining, junior segways, mini sports and den building, plus a lot more. As always, there are several places to eat and a large entertainment venue with a full entertainment program. This park has a wonderful backdrop of Snowdonia and is surrounded by a dune system that is protected from development. Greenacres Holiday Park is a great holiday park by the beach in Wales, very relaxing and family and dog friendly.
