Best Dog Friendly Holiday Parks in the UK
Our Top Dog Friendly Caravan Parks and Lodge Parks
At Caravan and Lodge Holidays, we have reviewed hundreds of holiday parks across the whole of the UK to find the best holiday parks that accept pets for dog friendly caravan holidays. We have reviewed and created pages from Cornwall to Scotland in a quest to find some of the best holiday parks that welcome dogs. We know that in the UK, 34% of households have a dog, that is a touch over one third of every house in the country has a pet dog. For the vast majority of us, it just makes sense to take our dog on holiday and why not, why be restricted to having to kennel your dog whilst you take your holiday, especially on a holiday park.
Having created lots of pages defined by county for holiday parks, we thought that it would be a great idea to list our favourite dog friendly holiday parks in the country. Having looked at all of these parks, we thought that it isn’t just a matter of accepting a pet, but more of a holiday park to go out of their way to actually welcome your pet. A dog needs entertaining, just in a different way to us human beings. They love alternatives to their every day lives like walking along a beach, really, which dog does not go nuts when they smell the sea air, mine does every time!
So, we have put together our list of the top dog friendly holiday parks that we think go out of their way to make your dog welcome, are situated near great dog friendly locations such as fantastic beaches or countryside and have great facilities for your family as well.
Enjoy our read and at the bottom of the page, you can see links to all of our dog friendly holiday parks across the UK so click on a link and find the best dog friendly caravan parks in the UK by county.
Tenby, South Wales
We will go out of our way here and say that Kiln Park Holiday Centre is one of our favourite family holiday parks in the country and one of the best dog friendly parks. The park is great, it is dog friendly but it is just a short walk down to Tenby South Beach and what a beach it is, especially at low tide when it joins up with Castle beach. Crystal clear waters, the finest sand, perfect for sandcastles and dog swims in the sea, Kiln Park Holiday Centre has everything for families and is so lucky to back onto one of the finest beaches in the country!

Stunning location, stunning beach and welcomes dogs in Cornwall
A stunning holiday park in Holwell Bay, if you have never been, a fantastic beach that is dog friendly all year around. It really is a stunning beach, great waves and patrolled by RNLI lifeguards in the summer, great surf and lots to do nearby, Newquay and Perranporth are easy to get to and there are lots of fantastic beaches just everywhere, many dog friendly.
We love everything about this park, location, huge range of different accommodation, stunning views and an 18 hole par 3 golf course which is ideal for all to play, does have its tricky bits though. A totally dog friendly park with a walking field for your dogs and even a doggy shower to cool down. It is a fabulous park, stunning location, amazing beach, lots going on and loads to do nearby!

Sidmouth, South Devon
Independent dog friendly holiday park in Devon with a doggy spa!
Oakdown Holiday Park is near Sidmouth in South Devon, ok the beaches are not as amazing as North Devon but the location is beautiful, Sidmouth as a town is really gorgeous as well, very classy and there is a good golf course here along with a nice beach. The park goes out of its way to encourage visitors to bring their dog, they have lots of dog walks and even have a doggy spa! You can get doggy shampoo from the shop and then give your pet a great shower, very cooling in the summer and nice to see independent parks go out of their way to welcome dog owners on holiday, well done to the team at Oakdown.

Milford-on-Sea, Hampshire
Great dog friendly park in Hampshire, near the New Forest and a great beach!
Shorefield Country Park is in Hampshire so if you want a dog friendly holiday without a massive drive to the South west, this is a great choice. It is a big park with lots of facilities making it a great holiday park if you have kids that need entertaining. We think that Shorefield Country Park ticks a lot of boxes, especially if you want a dog friendly family holiday park with entertainment and quality leisure facilities. The added bonus is that it is right by a very long dog friendly beach that is easy to get to and with along promenade. The other added bonus is that you are very close to the New Forest National Park which is dog heaven. There are so many walks here, so many beautiful villages and towns to explore, what a great location!

Bognor Regis, West Sussex
A great dog friendly holiday park in West Sussex right by a dog friendly beach. Church Farm Holiday Village ticks some pretty similar boxes as Shorefield Country Park, it is one of our top Haven family caravan parks and you get the Haven entertainments package plus great facilities, we really love the indoor and outdoor pools with a flume and a terrace by the outdoor pool as well. Great entertainment, great facilities, Bognor Regis is easy to get to from London and the south east and it is dog friendly.
The beach is dog friendly all year around as well which is a bonus although it is a shingle beach backed by a lagoon. It is a very pretty holiday park, actually quite peaceful and tranquil with lots of nature all around!

Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Caister-on-Sea Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth gets a vote because it is in a very popular location, a fantastic beach backed by sand dunes and dog friendly all year around. Because it is a Haven park, you get the usual facilities but because this park is over 100 years old, you get a lot more. The park is rammed with pretty much everything you need and a new adventure village. Dogs are really welcomed here though, probably more so than many of the other parks and they even have an obstacle course called bark yard and dogs are allowed in the terrace restaurant. If you are looking for a dog friendly holiday park in East Anglia that offers everything for the family, this is a great choice.

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest is for excitement, adventure, activities, fun with all of the facilities you could want. In our opinion, probably the best Centre Parc for a dog friendly holiday, set around a large lake with loads of walks and a dedicated dog walking area. It has a subtropical swimming paradise and is a great escape even in the colder months with lots of indoor activities and is set in a fantastic location in the Whinfell Forest.

Port Seton, East Lothian
Seton Sands Holiday Village is another park that is set by a dog friendly beach where you can take your dog on the beach all year round. It is a beautiful beach though, really beautiful and backed by dunes with lots of wildlife around. The park itself is one of the prettiest of the Haven parks and also benefits from its own 9 hole golf course. This makes it family friendly, dog friendly and for some, dad friendly, well worth looking a t for a dog friendly holiday park in Scotland.

Flookburgh, Cumbria
Lakeland Leisure Park is not actually in the Lake District, but pretty close by, it is in Flookburgh and about 9 miles from Windermere so very close. There are also some beaches nearby and the park is dog friendly with loads to do on site including a 9 hole golf course, indoor and outdoor pools plus paddle boarding. We like this park because it is really quite close to the most popular parts of the south Lake District, so endless opportunities to go for walks and it is right by the sea. We know dogs love the sea so this is really about the location more than anything else, a great base for a dog friendly holiday with plenty for the family to keep you entertained.

Beddgelert, Gwynedd, Wales
Forest Holidays Beddgelert is a complete contrast to all of the above parks, it is a small lodge park near to Blaenau Ffestiniog and Porhtmadog inside Snowdonia. The lodges are really nice, high quality and well spaced out so this is a park that doesn’t have all of the facilities, just a great base to explore Snowdonia in a luxury cabin, you can even get spa treatments. This is a great location if you are searching for space and peace, lots of room for your dog to run around and in a beautiful setting!
