Holiday Parks in Ringwood

Ringwood is in Hampshire and very close to the border with Dorset and also right on the edge of the New Forest, really popular with tourists as a base to explore the New Forest, Ringwood has excellent road connections making it easy to get to the beaches in nearby Bournemouth and all along the cost to Milford on Sea. If you want to explore the New Forest and the surrounding area, Ringwood is a great base and has a number of holiday parks in and around Ringwood. Ringwood is historically a pretty affluent market town with a market every Wednesday and a history that goes so far back, nobody really knows when it was founded. Not that it matters, the town is pretty, clean, well set with great shops, pubs and restaurants and for those that like it,  cracking brewery to visit.

There is loads to do around here, base yourself on a great caravan park or campsite around Ringwood and explore the area. The New Forest is brilliant, even if you just want to drive around and visit pretty villages. Walk along the heaths and meet the ponies, go fishing, cycling or even Go Ape, there is something for everyone. Bournemouth is a really easy drive and has excellent shopping and a fantastic long beach, great for a day out if the sun is on your side.

As a base, Ringwood is ideal for exploring the New Forest. The location and combination of major car routs that go past the town make it an ideal places to explore from Poole to Southampton. There is a decent choice when it comes to holiday parks with several caravan parks in Ringwood plus touring, lodge and campsites nearby.
