Withernsea is the main town along a stretch of coastline in East Yorkshire from Easington, Out Newton and Holmpton in the south, to Waxholme and Tunstall to the north of the town. The promenade at Withernsea is really pretty, redeveloped with the Pier Towers being the prominent feature, really nice to take a stroll, sit back and relax with steps down to the beach at regular intervals. You can visit the lighthouse and go to the lookout and see the coastline for miles or stroll around the Valley Gardens which hosts several events throughout the year and the Memorial Gardens are also a nice spot to relax in. If the weather is not so great, visit the leisure centre which has a water slide and fun sessions of go bowling at the Game King centre which also has a soft play area.
