Waterside Holiday Park is a bit of an iconic Devon caravan site with the steam railway that goes past the border of the park, about as traditional as you can get! Chalets & Caravans at Waterside Holiday Park

At Waterside Holiday Park, you can chose to stay in a caravan or a luxury apartment. The caravans come in either 1,2,3 or 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 guests. All of the caravans include bed linen, TV in the lounge, fully equipped kitchen, central heating and double-glazing. There are a selection of caravans which are wider and suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility difficulties. Waterside Holiday Park is a pet friendly holiday park and the also have pet friendly caravans. The more luxurious caravans feature a decking area with outside furniture.

Brand new for 2023 are the luxury apartments. These apartments have 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests. With fully equipped kitchens including some extras such as, a coffee machine and an under counter fridge with icebox. Bed linen and towels are included and the bathroom features a rain shower. You will also have your own private patio area with outdoor furniture, perfect for some alfresco dining.

Park Facilities at Waterside Holiday Park

Waterside Holiday Park recently introduced a brand new, modern looking indoor swimming pool and jet pool. There is a play park with swings, slide and a climbing frame where children can have fun, parents can sit and watch them from one of the picnic benches. There is a bar and restaurant which is designed around the idea of a traditional pub. Here you can meet, enjoy drinks and there is a pool table for entertainment.

Southside Bar & Grill offers locally sourced meals and for a quick bite, the Takeaway serves up fish & chips. During the summer months, there is a raised terrace with seating, here you can enjoy the stunning views of the bay. The park also has a launderette and a convenience shop, perfect for any household essential and groceries you may need.

Places to Visit Near Waterside Holiday Park

Waterside Holiday Park is located next to the famous Steam Railway, which allows for easy access to the headland. The Torquay coastline has many coastal paths perfect for walking and hiking. There is direct access from the park to 'Saltern Cove,' a secluded sand and rock beach which is a great spot for crabbing and snorkelling.  Goodrington Sands, a highly accessible beach near Paignton. It is split into North and South Beach, it offers a quieter side and a more vibrant area for fun activities.  Paignton Zoo is a great place to visit with the whole family.  It is home to over 2,000 animals with beautiful grounds, the zoo offers a chance to get up close with a wide range of species from around the world.

The South Devon Steam Railway stretches for 6 miles between Buckfastleigh and Totnes, offering a scenic journey through stunning landscapes. For a family fun activity, you could head down to Paignton’s sea front and head for Pirates Bay Adventure Golf. This is a landscaped 18 hole adventure golf course which is fun and challenging.
