Overview of Delamere Forest Lodge Park

Tucked away in the Delamere Forest and near to the Cheshire Plains hides a collective of 66 wonderful cabins and lodges each having their own private hot tubs. The Cheshire Plains are predominantly known for their vast areas of flat land with a healthy dose of agricultural land bordered by hedge rows alive with a healthy variety of natural inhabitants. Delamere Forest is close to Kelsall, Cuddington and Tarvin with Chester nearby.

The Delamere Forest is not too far away from the bustling and vibrant cities of Manchester and Liverpool and offers a great escape for those looking for both forest and lakeside walks, cycle trails and tree-based adventures and activities with Go Ape. Also, from time to time you can take in a gig or two with a range of bands performing at Delamere Forest at certain times of the year.

Delamere Forest Park offers a peaceful break in an idyllic location where hopefully you will be able to unwind and relax, surrounded by woodland and lots of local wildlife. The cabins are suitable for individual visitors, couples looking for a romantic break and even large extended families. Whilst each cabin is identical in the fact that it does have its own private hot tub, they all differ in how many bedrooms they have and therefore how many guests they can accommodate. There is a choice of floor layouts and the facilities available differ. For those who are travelling with a wheelchair, we would recommend the wheelchair adapted Silver Birch Cabin and for those couples looking for a cosy hideaway, checkout the Golden Oak Hideaway.

Delamere Forest Park facilities include 2 electric vehicle charging points and 2 children’s play areas with each one being suitable for a slightly different age group. There’s a nature trail, bike hire and pre-bookable activities to book into which are all on the website. Other useful facilities include a bar, restaurant and café, a shop and family walking trails, all starting from the cabin door.

Away from Delamere Forest Park, days out can be enjoyed at Chester Zoo, Mount Pleasant Gardens and Sculpture Trail. Racing car enthusiasts will enjoy visiting Oulton Park Circuit a picturesque racing circuit with a variety of events happening throughout the year. Children and adults can have a whole heap of bouncing fun at the UA Trampoline Park, which runs jump sessions, toddler sessions and fitness classes. Shopping at the Chester Oak Designer Outlet is also a good shout for those who need some shopping thrown into their forest break.

Accommodation at Delamere Forest Park

There are 66 individual cabins and lodges hidden away within the Delamere Forest Park, all of which have hot tubs to enjoy outside on each of their private decking and living areas. These are perfect for relaxing and unwinding in after each pleasant day spent in the forest, whether that be on foot, bike trails or hanging from an exhilarating zip line suspended from the trees up above.

There are 6 different styles of cabins to choose from here, although they differ in the number of bedrooms they have and the number of guests they can accommodate. It features lowered kitchen facilities and a hot tub hoist.

There are several of the White Willow Premium cabins which offer great views of the surrounding forest due to their floor to ceiling windows. They also feature outdoor living and cooking areas, cosy log fires and calming interiors. They even include a dog shower which is perfect after the dog returns from exploring the forest.

Couples will love the extra wide bath and the egg sharing seats within the Golden Oak Hideaway cabin. Whilst larger families can enjoy the uniqueness of the Golden Oak Treehouse complete with its private rope bridge to access one of the five bedrooms it has.
