Great Field Lodges consists of six contemporary one bedroom lodges, each sleeping two people. Although the individual interiors and bathroom layouts vary slightly, the accommodation follows a consistent format designed around spacious couple’s breaks.
Each lodge has a king-size bedroom with large windows overlooking the private garden. A modern en-suite bathroom is provided, with selected accommodation including both a freestanding bath and separate walk-in shower.
The open-plan living area combines a comfortable lounge, dining space and fitted kitchen. Kitchens include an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine and the main cookware and tableware required for a self-catering stay.
French or bi-fold doors connect the living space with a large covered deck. Outdoor furniture provides space for dining, while the private hot tub is sheltered so it can be enjoyed even when the North Devon weather changes.
Each lodge also has its own enclosed lawned garden. This is particularly useful for guests travelling with dogs and provides considerably more private outside space than a conventional couple’s lodge.

Places to Visit Near Great Field Lodges
Braunton is within walking distance and provides a useful starting point for exploring North Devon. The village has independent shops, surf stores, cafés, restaurants and traditional pubs.
Saunton Sands is one of the closest beaches and stretches for approximately three miles along the Atlantic coast. The wide expanse of sand is popular with surfers, walkers and dog owners and is backed by the extensive dunes of Braunton Burrows.
Braunton Burrows forms the core of the North Devon UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Its dune system supports a rich variety of plants and wildlife, with paths providing opportunities for walking and nature watching.
