There are a several luxury lodges on the park which are available to purchase, and the holiday park is open 12 months of the year. There are great facilities at Mullacott Park that include a shop, a useful laundrette and a bar and restaurant. If you don't fancy heading back out in the car after a long drive down to North Devon, the holiday park is on a very good bus route which includes open top rides during the sunnier and peak times.
Great days out can be had at nearby Ilfracombe where you can check out Verity, the popular visitor attraction statue by Damien Hirst. There's an aquarium to visit, hours of fun can be had crab fishing from the harbourside and there's secret beaches to explore via tunnels. Ilfracombe has plenty of cafe’s, bars and restaurants.
Woolacombe is just a short drive away or bus ride and it has a wonderful award winning golden sandy beach. There are many cafe's, bars and restaurants here and lots of independent beach and surf shops where you can purchase pretty much anything you might need for a day spent at the beach, including the latest technology in surfboards and wetsuits. If you’re feeling super fit and adventurous you could even join the coastal path and head over to nearby Croyde beach which is another super village on the North Devon coastline which has a cracking beach and is considered one of the best for surfing in the UK.

Accomodation at Mullacott Park
The holiday park has several privately owned luxury lodges to choose from. They are either 2 or 3 bedroomed and most of them allow pets to stay and have private decking and living areas. One of them also has a private hot tub, off road parking for two cars and welcomes a pet.
Mullacott Park also have an onsite sales team who welcome queries on the accommodation they have for sale at any given time. They also host open days at certain times of the year when the park is open to visitors and their pets to check out the location it's facilities and the current stock they have available to view.
Facilities at Mullacott Park
There is a very useful laundrette which is handy when the children may a slipped into a rockpool or two at the beach. There's a shop where you can purchase everyday essentials and there's a large welcoming pub which serves fantastic family meals throughout the day at the entrance to the park itself.
Things to do near to Mullacott Park
Fancy long sunny and great days out spent at the beach with the family. Well, you’re in luck as Mullacott Park is perfectly placed to explore several local must-see beaches. These include nearby Woolacombe which is roughly a three-mile-long beach which joins up with Putsborough beach at the far end. Woolacombe beach is a sandy beach and is ideal for sandcastle building, beach games and surfing. Sri Lankan curries are also on offer at Barricane Beach which is a secluded bay at the northern end of the beach near the headland.
Croyde is the next bay along to the south which is reachable via a short car journey over the hill and headland from Putsborough beach or for the adventurous and energetic a most beautiful walk around Baggy Point. Croyde beach is also a sandy beach where you will find people playing games of beach volleyball and very talented surfers due to it being known as a hotspot for surf.
Other beaches include Lee Bay and Saunton Sands to name just a few. The North Devon coastal path offers all kind of routes to enjoy, and days spent walking and exploring the cliff tops should not be missed due to the spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean and woodland areas.
Rainy days could be spent shopping in nearby Barnstaple which has several national retailers and smaller local independent stores. Kids will love the Big Sheep near Bideford and the Milky Way which is slightly further afield towards Hartland Point. Both sites offer fun and laughter with bumper car rides, rollercoaster rides and the opportunity to see animals up close.
