Mersea Island Holiday Park offers well-maintained grass pitches for camping during the school summer holidays, these pitches measure 10m x 10m, situated on flat, well-drained ground. There is access to a shower block, launderette, dishwashing area, and water & refuse disposal sites. The park only has tent camping only,  tourers, campervans, awnings, or caravans are not accepted on the park. Park Facilities at Mersea Island Holiday Park

Mersea Island offers kids clubs and exciting family entertainment with a unique outdoor cinema experience. The outdoor cinema allows you and your family to enjoy classic movies under the stars in a unique setting from late July through August. The entertainment is seasonal and includes events from live music performances to magic shows. There is a kids outdoor play area, amusement arcade and indoor swimming pool.

Cudmore Grove Country Park is next to the park, ideal if you want a walk or to walk your dog as this is a dog friendly holiday park. The park also has its own private beach and slipway, ideal if you want to bring your own boat or jet ski.

Places to Visit Near Mersea Island Holiday Park

Mersea Island offers some great countryside walks and abundant wildlife, making it a paradise for nature lovers. Cudmore Grove Country Park is great for walking with salt marshes and farmland along the edges of Pyefleet Channel and Brightlingsea Reach. Mersea Island Watersports offers everything from kayaking and sailing to windsurfing and wing foiling. You can try paddle boarding or take sailing lessons, a great activity to try for the whole family.

Colchester is an easy drive and a day out at Wyvernwood is a must if you have kids with its enchanted lost kingdom. There are lots of beaches too visit including Brightlingsea Beach which can be reached by ferry from the country park. Alternatively, for parents, a day out at Mersea Island Vineyard is a great option with wines and beers to sample and then you can buy some if you like them!
