The Needles Landmark Attraction is only a five-minute drive away from The Bay Colwell Holiday Park, this is a popular family attraction and is set within an Area of Outstanding Beauty. The main attraction is the three jagged chalk stacks rising from the sea and the red-and-white-striped Needles Lighthouse that was built in 1859 stands at the end of the formation. You can enjoy a scenic chairlift to Alum Bay Beach that descends 50 metres from the cliff top to Alum Bay Beach. This ride takes approximately 4 minutes and offers you amazing views of Needles and the Solent. Boat trips are also available at Alum Bay Beach to Needles and the lighthouse, you can enjoy close-up views of the stack formations and marine life including seals and seabirds.
