Birchington Vale Holiday Park offers caravan, touring caravan and camping pod breaks in Kent. The caravans are either two or three bedrooms and sleep up to eight people. The Gold Plus Caravans have central heating and double glazing throughout, fully equipped kitchen, TV, duvets, pillows and bed linen is provided and the beds are made up for you upon arrival. Pet friendly Gold Caravans are also available. The Silver caravans are similar to the gold caravans, however, these caravans may not have double-glazing and the television may be smaller. The Platinum caravan is the best level of accommodation and includes superior fixtures and fittings. Other additional features of the Platinum Caravans include, decking with outdoor furniture, integrated fridge freezer, en-suite facilities and a family size bathroom with either a shower or a bath.
The self-catering camping pods sleep up to four people (max 2 adults) and are fully insulated with heating. There is a double bed and bunk beds, small dining table and a wall heater. There are no cooking, washing or toilet facilities in the camping pods, however guests can make full use of the touring facilities on the holiday park. At Birchington Vale Holiday Park, there are a variety of fun on-site activities for you and your family to enjoy. The indoor heated pool features a flume slide and there is a separate shallow pool for younger children to have fun and splash around. You can also enjoy a fun game of crazy golf with the family or you would like to get a little more competitive, you can challenge your friends on the 9-hole pitch and putt course. The play park is full of fun apparatus including a zip line, swings, slide and climbing frame, children will love exploring the park and burning off any access energy. The amusement arcade is always a firm favourite with children of all ages, here you will find racing games, grabbers, air hockey and much more.
The entertainment venue near the restaurant and there is plenty of seating where you can sit back, have a drink and enjoy live acts, bingo and live music. Children will love meeting Loopy the Rabbit and his friends, Cyril the Squirrel and Penny Prickles, who will keep the children entertained throughout their stay. Places to Visit Near Birchington Vale Holiday Park
Wingham Wildlife Park is approximately a 20-minute drive from Birchington Vale Holiday Park, located just outside of Canterbury. This is a family owned park and has a large number of amazing animals for you to come and see. There are monkeys, red pandas, penguins, lions, tigers and meerkats, you can educate yourselves about these amazing animals and learn all about conservation.
Less than a 10-minute drive away are Margate Caves. These caves were original dug as a chalk quarry in the 17th and 18th centuries and were opened as a seaside attraction in 1863. The walls have been decorated with murals of soldiers and pirates. The caves were closed in 2004 then reopened again in 2019.
