The park offers a range of accommodation, guests can choose from caravans or lodges. The caravans range from Saver, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Signature Gold. Dog friendly vans are available. If you are looking for a luxurious stay additional features such as a lake view, veranda with outdoor furniture and extra wide are all optional.
Lodges offer a more luxurious stay, the Diamond and Emerald lodges offer spacious interiors and modern amenities, including large TVs and outdoor decking areas. The Signature Diamond lodges feature prime lakeside positions and stunning views. The park also provides specially adapted caravans for guests with disabilities.
Park Facilities at Lakeland Leisure Park
Lakeland Leisure Park has a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool which is perfect for all weather conditions. There is also a water sports centre on-site where you can take part in activities such as kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and pedalos. If you are a complete novice you can take coaching sessions to learn basic skills, more experienced guests have the option to hire equipment and explore at their own pace.
There are plenty of other activities you can get involved in on the holiday park, including archery sessions or if you prefer heights, the mini ropes course or the challenging aerial adventure courses. For fun family competition you can enjoy a round of crazy golf. The park also offers bike and kart hire, allowing you to fully explore the park. The Kid’s Clubs offer a variety of activities ranging from arts and crafts to circus skills. Little ones can join the Little Cubs club, designed specifically for toddlers, where activities like Messy Morning craft sessions and B Fit fun exercise classes are offered. Additionally, the park organises family-friendly activities such as treasure trails and pottery sessions. The Marina Lounge is where you will find all of the family friendly evening entertainment, here you can get yourself a drink, sit back and enjoy the show.
At Lakeland Leisure Park, there are a variety of dining options. The modern Lakeside Bay Restaurant offers an extensive menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring both hot and cold beverages. The park also offers various takeaway options, you can order a pizza from Papa Johns via the Haven Serve app and have it delivered directly to your accommodation. Lakeland Leisure Park also features pop-up eateries such as Beach Burger, Seaside Treats, and the renowned Cook’s van serving fish & chips.
Places to Visit Near Lakeland Leisure Park
Windermere and Ambleside are less than a 50-minute drive from Lakeland Leisure Park and there are many activities and attractions to take part in and visit. You can enjoy a wide variety of water sports such as paddle boarding, canoeing or enjoy a boat cruise on Windermere, England’s largest lake. If you would like to go walking around Windermere there are a variety of easy access walks or more challenging hikes involving some classic Lake District summits.
For family friendly cycling, the western shore of Windermere and Grizledale Forest are very good. Wray Castle, near Ambleside is a fun family day out, you can explore the activity room inside the castle and with a natural playground in the grounds, children will love exploring the outside space.
