Fallbarrow Holiday Park is within walking distance of the village Bowness-on-Windermere where there are a selection of shops, cafes, and a variety of attractions.
Fallbarrow Holiday park is more of a relaxed holiday park and perfect for families who like to be outside and would like to explore the Lake District. On site facilities include an adventure playground, amusement arcade, shop and there is a bar and restaurant offering food and drinks. During the summer holidays Fallbarrow Holiday Park offer live entertainment.
There is a choice of accommodation at Fallbarrow Holiday Park in the Lake District including caravan, luxury lodges and holiday cottages. Caravans can sleep up to eight people and are available in two or three bedroom models. There are a choice of luxury lodges and a selection of hot tub lodges are also available at this holiday park. Chalets, Lodges & Caravans at Fallbarrow Holiday Park
Fallbarrow Holiday Park offers caravan, lodge and cottage holidays. The caravans are available in two or three bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people. All accommodation includes double-glazing and central heating, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster. Additional features such as pet friendly, lake views, extra wide and verandas with outdoor furniture are also available.
Two, three or four bedroom lodges sleeping up to eight people are also available. Lodges can include the following additional features veranda, private parking, washing machine, hot tub, en-suite, pet friendly and extra wide. The cottages have either three or bedrooms sleeping eight or nine people. Each cottage also includes a hot tub and dedicated parking. The three bedroom cottage has a veranda.
Park Facilities at Fallbarrow Holiday Park
The multi-use games area is perfect for older children to play football and basketball, the adventure playground is suitable for younger children, they can swing, climb and to run around. There is an amusement arcade where you can play a variety of arcade games and win prizes. On the lake shore, you can enjoy windsurfing and canoeing. During the summer holidays, the park has a great entertainment programme with live music and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
The onsite Willow Bar and Restaurant is where you can enjoy a variety of meals and drinks, you can choose to sit outside in the lovely beer garden if the weather is nice. The Café on The Park is full of freshly prepared snacks and light bites, you can also start your day with a delicious Costa Coffee.
Places to Visit Near Fallbarrow Holiday Park
The park is located near several hiking trails and nature walks that offer stunning views, you can choose the short scenic route to Stock Ghyll Force Waterfall or, if you prefer a more challenging walk you may decide to hike up to Orrest Head. The Tarn Hows Circular Walk is a popular walk and it provides a leisurely path with views of the Lake District fells. If you would like to try a different experience, which is not on the water, Treetop Trek at ZipWorld is a 10 minute drive away from Fallbarrow Holiday Park. Here there are 35 exciting treetop challenges including aerial obstacles such as rope bridges and wobbly logs, with the finish being a 250 metre triple zip from the 14 metre high treetop tower to the shoreline.
The World of Beatrix Potter is within walking distance of Fallbarrow Holiday Park. The attraction is open daily and you can purchase your tickets when you arrive. You can fully submerge yourself in the world of Beatrix Potter, take a seat in the film room to begin your journey, you then step into the magical world of Jemima’s woodland and eventually all of wonderful Beatrix Potter characters. There is museum, café and a gift shop for you and your family to enjoy. Approximately a 20-minute drive away is Lakes Aquarium, here you can learn more about the local wildlife from around the Lake District and more exotic species from around the world.
