Lodges have open plan living and dining areas, self catering kitchens, private verandas and outdoor furniture. Larger layouts provide space for families and groups sharing a Lincolnshire holiday.

Private outdoor hot tubs are included with the principal current lodge range. Many lodges occupy lakeside positions, allowing guests to enjoy views across the water from their veranda and hot tub. 

One selected three bedroom lodge welcomes up to two dogs. The remaining current accommodation provides pet free choices for visitors who prefer them. 

Anglers can fish on the four acre lake, which contains carp, roach, barbel and tench. Fishing is available from dawn until dusk, and wheelchair accessible fishing pegs are provided.

Accommodation at Home Farm Park Lakeside Retreat

Home Farm Park Lakeside Retreat offers two, three and four bedroom lodge accommodation sleeping between four and eight guests. This range provides space for couples, families and groups visiting the Lincolnshire coast.

The two bedroom choices include accommodation for four guests and larger family layouts sleeping up to six. Bedroom arrangements can include a main double or king size bedroom with a twin room, or a main bedroom with additional bunk beds.

Three bedroom lodges generally sleep six guests. Typical layouts have a main bedroom with ensuite facilities and two twin bedrooms, together with a separate family shower room.

Four bedroom lodges sleep up to eight. Current layouts include a king size bedroom, a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, or two king size bedrooms and two twin rooms. Two bathroom facilities are provided with the current four bedroom accommodation. 

Each lodge has an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. Kitchens include an electric oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher, while a washing machine is also provided with many current choices.

Bed linen and towels are included, and beds are prepared before arrival. The lodges are double glazed and centrally heated, with gas and electricity included in the holiday price. 

French doors lead onto a private veranda or patio with outdoor furniture. Many lodges overlook the fishing lake, while others have views across the landscaped park and surrounding countryside.

Private hot tubs feature across the principal lodge range. One three bedroom lodge also welcomes up to two dogs and provides the same main kitchen, living, bathroom and hot tub facilities as the pet free accommodation. 

Parking is provided at or close to the lodge.

Park Facilities at Home Farm Park Lakeside Retreat

The four acre fishing lake is the main shared facility at Home Farm Park. The water contains carp, roach, barbel and tench, providing fishing for visitors with different levels of experience.

Fishing is available between dawn and dusk. Wheelchair accessible fishing pegs provide improved access to selected areas around the lake. Anglers aged 13 and over require an Environment Agency rod licence. 

Many lodges stand beside the water and have a private veranda overlooking the lake. Outdoor furniture provides space for meals, drinks and time outside when the weather is nice.

Private outdoor hot tubs are positioned beside the principal lodge accommodation. Each hot tub is reserved for the guests staying in that lodge.

The landscaped grounds include lawns, planted areas and paths around the lodge development. Parking is provided at or close to the accommodation.

Home Farm guests can also use selected facilities at Sycamore Farm Holiday Park, approximately one mile away. These include a small convenience shop, children’s playground and launderette. The shop stocks everyday groceries and fishing equipment.

Places to Visit Near Home Farm Park Lakeside Retreat

Burgh le Marsh is less than one mile from Home Farm Park. The town has local shops, cafés and traditional pubs, together with a historic windmill and walking routes through the surrounding farmland. 

Skegness is approximately five miles away. Visitors can spend time on the sandy beach, walk along the promenade or visit the pier, aquarium, amusement arcades and town centre attractions.

Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegness combines rescued seals with penguins, reptiles, tropical animals and marine displays. It can be included as part of a day beside the beach and promenade. 

Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve lies south of Skegness. The reserve covers more than 1,000 acres of saltmarsh, dunes, beach and freshwater habitats, with walking routes, birdwatching hides and a visitor centre. 

Gunby Estate has an 18th century country house surrounded by eight acres of Victorian walled gardens. Visitors can explore the house, gardens, parkland, tearoom and second hand bookshop. 

Ingoldmells is approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the park. Fantasy Island has rides and family attractions, while the surrounding resort has shops, places to eat and access to the beach.

The Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape begins a short drive inland. Walking and cycling routes pass through rolling farmland, valleys and villages, providing a countryside day away from the coast.

Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea provide further sandy beaches and traditional seaside facilities to the north. Louth offers markets, independent shops and access to Hubbard’s Hills.
