The adults focused 1893 Spa has a hydrotherapy relaxation pool, sauna, steam room, treatment rooms and relaxation areas. Spa access and treatments are booked separately, with charges and availability restrictions applying.

The Ridgeway Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and evening meals, with a bar, lounge and outdoor terrace overlooking the golf course. A gym provides cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines and free weights.

The lodge accommodation sleeps up to four guests. Each lodge has two bedrooms, two shower rooms and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Private decking provides outdoor seating with views across the countryside, water or golf course.

The fitted kitchens contain an oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Hot tub lodges add a private outdoor hot tub beside the accommodation, while non hot tub choices retain the same two bedroom capacity and private decking.

Selected lodge accommodation welcomes dogs. Pet friendly availability must be confirmed when booking, as pets are not accepted automatically throughout the resort.

Couples can also stay in studio style terrace rooms or suites within the hotel accommodation. These provide a bedroom, private shower room, television and tea and coffee making facilities. Selected suites include a seating area, countryside views and a roll top bath.

The studio style terrace rooms are a short walk from the main resort building and provide a smaller alternative to a full self catering lodge.

Places to Visit Near The Springs Resort & Golf Club

Wallingford is approximately five to ten minutes from The Springs. The market town has independent shops, pubs, cafés and riverside walks. Wallingford Castle Meadows combines medieval castle remains, floodplain meadow and access to the Thames Path.

The Cholsey and Wallingford Railway operates heritage train journeys between the two towns on selected dates. Wallingford is also associated with Agatha Christie and has appeared as Causton in television adaptations of Midsomer Murders.

Nuffield Place is approximately 10 to 15 minutes away. The National Trust property was the home of William Morris, founder of Morris Motors, and retains his personal rooms, tools, furnishings and Arts and Crafts garden.

Didcot Railway Centre is within driving distance and has a large collection of Great Western Railway locomotives, rolling stock and historic railway buildings.

Henley on Thames can normally be reached in approximately 20 to 25 minutes. Visitors can explore the riverside, independent shops and walking routes or visit during one of the town’s rowing, music and food events.
