The village of Burghead is less than a two-minute walk away, here you will find local shops and country pubs, you can also walk or cycle the Coastal Trail east, toward Hopeman, two miles away, which also has all the amenities described above plus an 18-hole golf course.

There is a choice of camping pitches or touring pitches for you to choose from at Burghead Holiday Park offering you good value for money. On site facilities are basic including a launderette and the park operates cashless. Guests can use the facilities at Silver Sands Holiday Park with an indoor pool, family bar, restaurant, adventure playground, gym, amusement arcade, free Wi-Fi in the clubhouse and a mini-mart.

The 6m x 6m grass itches are suitable for tourers and tents, they include 16amp electric hook up, access to shower and toilet facilities, dog friendly. Hardstanding pitches also offer 16amp electric hook up and access to shower and toilet facilities. Hardstanding pitches are available in two sizes, either 6m x 6m or 6m x 3m.

Burghead Holiday Park is a great place to stay if you love the beach. Burghead beach is right on your doorstep, it is a family orientated beach with lifeguards on patrol during the peak season. Here you can enjoy paddling, building sandcastles and all other fun beach activities. Hopeman Beach is approximately 6 miles away. With golden sands backed by cliffs, this beach is great for kite flying, beachcombing, or a family BBQ. The adjacent harbor has ice cream shops and it is also the starting point for the Moray Coast Trail—a flat, scenic walk suitable for the whole family.
