There are also touring and camping pitches available including hardstanding and electric hook ups. All of which are pet friendly pitches.

There's plenty to do onsite, including an indoor heated swimming pool where you can enjoy a leisurely spa bath or have fun in the pool with the kids. There's an adventure playground, a mini golf course, an amusement arcade, a bar and restaurant and an entertainment venue. To name just a few! There's also lots to do nearby with old railways to explore on foot or bicycles, whiskey tasting and stand-up paddle board adventures to be had. Accommodation at Grannie's Heilan Hame Park

When staying here as a tourer there are three different options to choose from. Those being 'serviced' which are grass pitches with electric hook-ups and provide space for awnings. The 'standard' pitches which is the same as serviced pitches minus the provision of electric hook-ups and 'star' pitches which has both electric hook-ups and drainage with the choice of grass and hard standing. Tent’s, campervans, touring caravans and motorhomes are all welcome and all pitches are pet friendly.

There's also a selection of caravan and lodge holiday homes to choose from. Offering a range of features to suit all requirements and budgets. Such as pet friendly stays, those with outdoor living areas with some including outdoor furniture. There are currently a total of 3 accessible units which feature wet rooms and access ramps amongst other features. All accommodation choices include heating and double glazing and there is a choice of either 2 or 3 bedroom units sleeping anywhere from 4 to 8 visiting guests. Most of the accommodation choices are extra wide however only one has private parking. A total of 19 allow visiting families who prefer to travel with their pets and 2 of the units have ensuite shower rooms such as the ‘Kinord’ 2 bedroom caravan. Which also benefits from having a fully furnished outdoor living area and a lot of the comforts you would find back home such as a fire and a flatscreen TV.

Although Embo beach is right on the holiday parks doorstep there is plenty of onsite facilities to make your stay an enjoyable one. If you prefer fresh water to salt water, there's the indoor swimming pool complete with a relaxing bath spa. There's an amusement arcade, an adventure playground, a multi sports court area, a tennis court and a crazy golf course. There's a wildlife nature trail for those explorers and a designated dog walking area perfect for those who prefer to bring their dogs away with them on holiday.

There's plenty to do locally, or nothing if you prefer to relax in this beautiful area of Scotland. The local beach which is only a few steps away local is a dog friendly beach with beautiful golden sands. It is also a good location to do some dolphin spotting and is ideal for hours of rock pool exploring.

Dornoch is nearby which offers a variety of things to see and do including its own beach. There's plenty of nearby walking and cycle trails such as the Dava Way which is a 24-mile route and takes in a variety of different scenery including, farm and moorlands, passing through woodlands and enjoys views of the Moray Firth.

Wildlife tours and a visit to The Falls of Shin won't disappoint when it's salmon leaping season, a truly unforgettable experience.
