The current holiday range includes hot tub pods, compact lodges and tiny-house accommodation sleeping between four and six guests. Each current choice has private decking, outdoor seating and its own hot tub, providing space to enjoy the riverside surroundings throughout the stay.

Accommodation includes open-plan living space, kitchen or kitchenette facilities, a private shower room, heating and WiFi. Bed linen, towels and utilities are included, while selected accommodation welcomes one dog.

Fishing is available along the park’s private stretch of Liddel Water. Guests can fish for trout and salmon during the applicable seasons, subject to the park’s current access arrangements and fishing rules.

Newcastleton is approximately one mile away and can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot. The village has independent shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and the Liddesdale Heritage Centre.

Riverview Holiday Park offers a boutique collection of self-catering pods and compact lodges beside Liddel Water. The current accommodation sleeps four or six guests, providing choices for couples, smaller families and friends travelling together.

The one-bedroom pod and mini-lodge accommodation sleeps up to four guests. Sleeping arrangements combine a main bed with additional lounge or raised sleeping space, allowing the accommodation to retain an open-plan interior.

Tiny-house accommodation also sleeps four. Its layout includes a fitted kitchen, lounge, upstairs attic sleeping space and a full-sized shower room. Additional sleeping space is provided within the living area.

The studio-style pods sleep up to four guests and combine living, dining and sleeping areas within one open-plan interior. Current layouts include a pull-down double bed, an elevated single bed and a pull-out single bed.

The larger family pod sleeps up to six using a main sleeping area, raised bunk level and a dining space that converts into an additional double bed. Its kitchen includes a hob, microwave and refrigerator, while the shower room has a large shower enclosure.

Each current accommodation choice has a private shower room, television, heating and WiFi. Kitchens or kitchenettes include the principal appliances required for preparing meals, although the precise provision varies between the different layouts.

Private decking, outdoor seating and a hot tub are included throughout the current holiday range. Bed linen, towels, electricity and heating are also provided. Selected accommodation welcomes one dog.

Liddel Water runs beside Riverview Holiday Park and forms the main feature of its countryside setting. The accommodation is positioned to make the most of the river, established trees and surrounding Scottish Borders landscape.

Guests have access to private fishing along the river. Trout and salmon fishing are available during the applicable seasons, with access reserved for park residents and guests.

Each holiday accommodation choice has its own private hot tub. The hot tubs are positioned beside the pod or lodge on private decking, with outdoor seating also provided.

Places to Visit Near Riverview Holiday Park

Newcastleton is approximately one mile from Riverview Holiday Park. The village has local shops, cafés, pubs, restaurants and the Liddesdale Heritage Centre, which explores the culture and history of Liddesdale.

Newcastleton Forest lies immediately east of the village. Walking routes explore its upland woodland, while the Newcastleton 7stanes centre has mountain biking trails beginning from the village trailhead.

Rock UK Whithaugh Park is less than two miles away. Its adventure activities include climbing, archery, zip wires, bushcraft and mountain biking, with family activity days available on selected dates.

Hermitage Castle is approximately 15 to 20 minutes away. The medieval stronghold stands within the Liddesdale countryside and was once central to control of the Scottish Middle March.

Kielder Water and Forest Park can normally be reached in approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Visitors can explore walking and cycling trails, waterside routes, wildlife habitats and the surrounding forest.

Kielder Observatory provides bookable stargazing events beneath Northumberland’s dark skies. Its programme includes astronomy sessions for adults and families.
