Overview of The Hollies Kessingland

The Hollies Kessingland is a clifftop holiday park overlooking the Suffolk coast, approximately four miles south of Lowestoft. Set within around 30 acres, this park has its own steps leading down to the wide beach below.

Visitors can stay in two and three bedroom self catering lodges or choose two bedroom safari style accommodation. Selected lodges have a private hot tub, while dog friendly and pet free choices are both available.

The Hollies also has more than 300 camping and touring pitches. Choices include grass camping pitches and hardstanding electric pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans. The different fields provide options close to the beach, central facilities or quieter parts of the park.

Facilities include a children’s play area, shower and toilet blocks, washing up facilities, a launderette, picnic space and gas sales. WiFi is limited and is principally available around reception rather than throughout the entire park. Seasonal food is available on selected dates, with several pubs, shops and places to eat nearby in Kessingland.

The Hollies is ideal for couples, families, campers, touring guests and dog owners looking for direct beach access and a base for exploring Lowestoft, Southwold and the Suffolk coast.

Accommodation at The Hollies Kessingland

The Hollies offers two and three bedroom self catering lodges, two bedroom safari style accommodation and a broad range of camping and touring pitches.

Most two bedroom lodges sleep up to four guests, normally in a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Three bedroom choices sleep up to six and provide additional space for larger families.

The lodges have an open plan living and dining area, fitted kitchen, bedroom accommodation and private washing facilities. Bed linen, duvets, gas and electricity are included, while beds are prepared before arrival. Towels are also included with the principal lodge range.

Many properties have private decking and parking beside the accommodation. Selected lodges add a hot tub, ensuite bathroom, dishwasher or washing machine. These features vary between properties and should be checked when booking.

Dog friendly choices accept up to two pets, while pet free accommodation is also available. A property described as dog friendly will not necessarily have an enclosed outdoor area.

The safari style accommodation has two bedrooms, a kitchen, living space and private washing facilities. It provides a more informal alternative to the main lodge range while retaining self catering facilities.
