Two bedroom lodges normally sleep four. Layouts generally combine a double bedroom with a twin or bunk bedroom. The current range includes lakeside fishing accommodation, woodland container lodges, a floating lodge and contemporary lodges with two ensuite shower rooms.

The larger lakeside lodges sleep up to six and have open plan living space, a fitted kitchen, private garden, decking and an outdoor hot tub. These are ideal for families and groups wanting more space beside the water.

A limited number of hardstanding pitches are available for touring caravans and motorhomes. Each pitch has a hardstanding area measuring approximately 30 feet by 13 feet, an adjoining grassed area, electricity and access to water.

Fairwood Lakes has a compact collection of facilities centred around fishing, outdoor space and family play.

The established fishing lakes contain carp, tench, bream, perch, roach, rudd, chub and pike. Guests can add a fishing pass to their booking, while selected waterside lodges provide access to a private fishing position directly in front of the accommodation.

Children can use the indoor soft play area, mini golf course and outdoor playground. These facilities are available to staying guests, although children must be supervised around the play areas, lakes and hot tubs.

Paths around the lakes and into the woodland give visitors opportunities for short walks and wildlife watching. The water, grassland and trees attract a variety of birds and other animals throughout the year.

Fishing at Fairwood Lakes

The lakes have been established for more than 25 years and contain carp weighing over 20 pounds, together with tench, bream, perch and several silver fish species.

Each angler requires a fishing pass. Visitors should bring their own rods, bait, landing mat, landing net and barbless hooks. Anglers over the applicable age must also hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence.

Family Facilities

Indoor soft play gives younger children an activity when the weather is wet, while mini golf and the outdoor playground provide additional choices outside.

The facilities are close to the lakes, so adults remain responsible for supervising children throughout their visit.

Dog Friendly Holidays
