Overview of Fairwood Lakes Holiday Park

Fairwood Lakes Holiday Park is located at Dilton Marsh near Westbury in Wiltshire. It is perfect for guests who want a lakeside hot tub break with fishing, countryside walks, children’s play areas and easy access to Longleat, Bath and the wider Wiltshire countryside. View all of our parks for caravan and lodge holidays in Wiltshire here.

The park has a quieter, nature focused feel, with lakes, woodland, outdoor space and places for children to play. It is a good choice for families, couples, fishing guests and dog owners booking selected dog friendly accommodation.

Accommodation is based around hot tub lodges and cabins, with waterside, lakeside, woodland and floating options available. This gives the park a more distinctive feel than a standard holiday park, especially for guests who want to stay close to the water or among the trees.

Fairwood Lakes is also useful for families with younger children. The park has indoor soft play, mini golf, outdoor play areas, a mud kitchen, lakeside wildlife walks and a seasonal splash tunnel.

The location adds a lot of value. Longleat is roughly 15 to 20 minutes away by car, while Frome, Westbury, Bath, Bradford on Avon, Stonehenge, Lacock and Avebury all give guests plenty of choice for days out.

Lodges at Fairwood Lakes Holiday Park

Fairwood Lakes Holiday Park offers hot tub lodges and cabins in a lakeside and woodland setting. The accommodation is a good choice for couples, families, small groups, fishing breaks and guests bringing dogs to selected dog friendly lodges.

The waterside fishing lodges sleep up to 4 guests and are a good option for guests who want to stay close to the lake. They are especially useful for couples or small families planning a break with fishing, quiet evenings and hot tub time.

The cosy cabins also sleep up to 4 guests and suit shorter breaks, couples and young families. They give guests a compact base with living space, kitchen facilities, a private deck and a hot tub.

The floating lodge is one of the most distinctive stays at Fairwood Lakes. It sleeps up to 4 guests and is best for couples or families who want a more unusual waterside setting. Guests should check the layout before booking, as some sleeping arrangements are better suited to children.

The woodland container lodges sleep up to 4 guests and give the park a more unusual accommodation style. The lakeside lodges sleep up to 6 guests, making them better for families who need extra sleeping space.

Selected dog friendly lodges are available, but not every lodge accepts pets. Guests bringing dogs should check the exact lodge before booking, especially as the Floating Lodge and some other lodges are kept pet free.

Park Facilities at Fairwood Lakes Holiday Park

Facilities at Fairwood Lakes are based around the lakes, hot tubs, fishing, children’s play and relaxed outdoor time. This is not a large resort park with pools and evening entertainment, so the appeal comes from the setting, the water and simple family facilities.

Fishing is one of the main reasons to stay. The lakes are stocked with carp and silverfish, and guests can add a Fish While You Stay pass when booking. Every angler needs their own pass, and guests over 12 also need the correct rod licence.

Families have several useful facilities on the park. Children can use the outdoor play areas, mini golf, indoor soft play, mud kitchen and woodland play spaces. The splash tunnel adds a seasonal option during spring and summer.

The lakeside walks are another important part of the stay. Guests can walk around the lakes, look for wildlife and spend time outside without needing to leave the park every day. This is especially useful for families with younger children and guests bringing dogs.

Fairwood Lakes also has a café with outdoor seating, plus practical guest facilities. Spa treatments can be booked through a visiting provider and need to be arranged separately.

Dogs are welcome in selected accommodation, but they must be kept on leads in public areas, including around the lakes. Dogs are not allowed in the play areas or inside the café building, except for assistance dogs.
