Green Hill Farm Holiday Village is a woodland holiday park at Landford in Wiltshire, beside the New Forest National Park. Green Hill Farm has one of the broader accommodation ranges in the New Forest area, with holiday caravans, lodges, glamping pods, safari tents, shepherd’s huts and touring or camping pitches.

Holiday caravans have two or three bedrooms and include a kitchen, lounge, dining space and private bathroom. Higher grade choices add decking, an ensuite bathroom, dishwasher, private parking or a hot tub.

The larger lodges have between two and four bedrooms. They provide more internal space than the caravans, along with a fitted kitchen, decking and family bathroom. Selected lodges include an ensuite, washing machine and private hot tub.

The single storey glamping pods sleep up to four and have a bedroom, sofa bed, fitted kitchen, bathroom, decking and private hot tub. Safari tents are available for couples or families, with larger versions sleeping up to six. They combine bedrooms and a kitchen with a wood burner, outdoor decking and a hot tub.

The two adults only shepherd’s huts are designed for couples. Each has a private garden, hot tub, hammock, barbecue area and character features such as a roll top bath or stargazing skylight.

Dog friendly choices are available across most accommodation categories, although the shepherd’s huts remain pet free. Bed linen, towels and WiFi are included with fixed accommodation.

Green Hill Farm has a strong selection of outdoor facilities that complement its direct access into the New Forest.

The seasonal Forest Ranger programme includes Segway rides, archery, target shooting, den building and fire making. Sessions are booked separately and some carry an additional charge. The park map also identifies an activity hub, Segway meeting point and dedicated archery area.

Children can use the splash pad, playground, junior trampolines, mud kitchen and fairy garden. A trim trail, table tennis and pétanque court provide further informal activities around the grounds.

Fishing is available from designated licensed and private fishing points beside the wildlife and woodland lakes. Anglers should book through reception and confirm whether their accommodation includes access to a private position.

Ember Bar and Pizzeria serves stone baked pizza and drinks during its seasonal opening period. A firepit is lit on selected evenings, while summer food vans provide further choices on certain dates.

Places to Visit Near Green Hill Farm Holiday Village

The New Forest is reached directly from Green Hill Farm, allowing visitors to start woodland and heathland walks without driving. Routes around Landford, Nomansland and the wider forest provide opportunities to see ponies, deer and birdlife.

Paultons Park is approximately 10 minutes away. The family theme park includes Peppa Pig World, rollercoasters, play areas, gardens and attractions for different age groups.

Salisbury is approximately 20 minutes from the park. The historic city has a cathedral, independent shops, cafés, museums and walks beside the River Avon.

The New Forest Wildlife Park and Longdown Activity Farm can normally be reached in approximately 20 minutes. Both provide family days out centred on animals, wildlife and outdoor play.

Beaulieu is around 30 minutes away and is home to the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey and family exhibitions. Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst provide further New Forest shops, places to eat and walking routes.

Stonehenge, Lepe Beach and the coast around Lymington can also be reached for longer days out. Southampton is within driving distance for shopping, restaurants and maritime attractions.
