Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat is a lodge park on the western side of the Lizard Peninsula in South Cornwall. The accommodation ranges from one to four bedroom lodges sleeping between two and eight guests. Selected Premier lodges include a private hot tub, while dog friendly and pet free choices are both available.

Each lodge provides self catering facilities, open plan living space and private outdoor decking. The coastal location is particularly attractive for couples, families, groups and dog owners who plan to spend their holiday exploring beaches, harbour villages and the South West Coast Path.

Poldhu Cove is approximately five minutes away by car, while Polurrian Beach can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot along local paths. Mullion village provides shops, pubs, cafés and everyday supplies within a short drive.

Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat offers one, two, three and four bedroom lodges sleeping between two and eight guests.

The one bedroom accommodation provides a comfortable setting for couples, while two and three bedroom lodges give families and groups more sleeping and shared living space. Four bedroom lodges sleep up to eight and are ideal for larger families or several adults travelling together.

Each lodge has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Kitchens include a cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and the main equipment needed for a self catering holiday. Towels and bed linen are provided.

Private decking provides outdoor seating beside the accommodation. Selected Premier lodges add a private hot tub, while standard lodge choices are available for visitors who do not require this feature.

Dog friendly accommodation is available across selected parts of the range. Some lodge types accept up to three dogs, while others remain pet free.

One allocated parking space is provided for each lodge. Additional visitor spaces are limited, so groups travelling in more than one vehicle should check the arrangements before arrival.

Each lodge has one allocated parking space. The retreat remains open throughout the year, making it possible to plan summer holidays, autumn walking breaks and stays over Christmas and New Year.

Reception provides assistance with arrivals and local information. Barbecues are permitted subject to the current safety rules, allowing guests to eat outside beside their lodge when the weather is nice.

The retreat does not currently provide its own electric vehicle charging points, so guests travelling in an electric car should identify a public charger before arrival. 

Places to Visit Near Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat

Mullion Cove is approximately five minutes away on foot. The National Trust harbour was built during the 1890s and continues to shelter a small fishing fleet. Visitors can explore the harbour, watch for seals and seabirds and join the South West Coast Path.

Polurrian Beach can be reached in approximately 20 minutes on foot. This sandy cove is surrounded by cliffs and is popular for swimming, surfing and rock pooling when conditions are suitable.

Poldhu Cove is approximately five minutes away by car. The National Trust beach has parking, public toilets and a café, making it one of the most convenient local choices for a family beach day.

Lizard Point is approximately 10 minutes from the retreat and marks the most southerly point of mainland Britain. Visitors can follow clifftop paths, look for wildlife and enjoy extensive coastal views.

Kynance Cove is also within a short drive and is known for its turquoise water, islands and distinctive serpentine rock formations. Access involves a walk from the National Trust car park.

Helston provides supermarkets, shops and the Museum of Cornish Life. Other nearby days out include the Cornish Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, the harbour at Porthleven and Roskilly’s Farm on the eastern side of the Lizard Peninsula.
