Accommodation at Silver Sands Holiday Park

Holiday Caravans

The current rental fleet includes modern two and three-bedroom holiday caravans. Current accommodation is double glazed and centrally heated, making caravan breaks possible outside the main summer season as well as during the traditional Cornwall holiday period.

Layouts vary, with selected larger caravans offering a king-size main bedroom, en suite facilities and full-size fridge/freezers. Kitchens are designed for self-catering and living rooms include Smart TVs and free WiFi.

Private parking and outdoor seating are available with current caravan accommodation. Selected caravans welcome dogs and a hot tub option is also available within the caravan range.

Hot Tub Lodges

The larger lodge accommodation provides considerably more space for families and groups.

The four-bedroom lodge sleeps up to nine people and includes two king-size bedrooms, a double bedroom and a further family-style bedroom. There are two bathrooms, including an en suite wet room, plus a kitchen with full-size appliances, dishwasher and washing machine.

Outside is a large deck with furniture and a private six-person hot tub overlooking the surrounding countryside.

Touring Caravans, Motorhomes and Campervans

Touring guests can choose between fully serviced hardstanding pitches and partly serviced grass pitches.

Fully serviced pitches include 16 amp electric hook-up, an individual water connection and grey water drainage. They are approximately 10 metres wide and between 10 and 13 metres long.

Partly serviced grass pitches have 10 amp electricity and their own water supply, with pitches approximately 8 metres by 10 metres.

Touring pitches are generally available from March until early October.

Camping

Camping ranges from standard grass pitches to an additional summer camping field.

Electric pitches provide 10 amp hook-up while non-electric pitches offer a simpler camping experience. Typical pitches are generously sized, with many around 8.5 to 10 metres across.

Kennack Sands Beach

A walking route leads from the park through the Gwendreath Valley towards the beach, allowing guests to reach the coast without driving. Kennack Sands consists of two sandy sections divided by Carn Kennack and is surrounded by the distinctive geology and scenery of the Lizard Peninsula.

The beach is suitable for swimming and is also popular with surfers when conditions are suitable. Seasonal RNLI lifeguard cover normally operates from around mid-May until late September.

Dogs are subject to seasonal restrictions on the main beach during the middle of the day in July and August, so dog owners should check current restrictions before visiting.

Places to Visit Near Silver Sands Holiday Park

Silver Sands is particularly well positioned for exploring the Lizard Peninsula, with several of southern Cornwall's best-known beaches and coastal landscapes within a relatively small area.

Kennack Sands is the obvious starting point and can be reached on foot from the park. Beyond the beach, the South West Coast Path provides access to rugged clifftop scenery and quiet coves that are difficult to appreciate properly from the road.

Lizard Point is another essential visit. As the most southerly point of mainland Britain, it combines dramatic cliffs, coastal walks and opportunities to see seabirds and marine wildlife. The surrounding National Trust coastline is particularly good for walking.

Kynance Cove is one of Cornwall's most distinctive beaches, known for turquoise water, pale sand and serpentine rock formations. It is best visited with the tide in mind because much of the beach disappears at high water. Parking can also fill quickly during summer.
