Can you fish at Otter Falls?

Yes. Fishing is one of Otter Falls' main attractions.

Guests have exclusive access to three spring-fed lakes covering more than seven acres, with carp, bream, tench, rudd, roach, perch and golden orfe among the species present.

There is also approximately 250 metres of private River Otter fishing where brown trout can be caught.

Is fishing included at Otter Falls?

Fishing is free for holiday guests, although anglers aged over 12 need an appropriate Environment Agency rod licence.

The current rules permit up to two rods and require barbless hooks. Night fishing, keepnets, groundbaiting, catapults, bite alarms and barbed hooks are not permitted.

Does Otter Falls have a swimming pool?

Yes. The indoor swimming pool is heated to approximately 28.3°C and is open throughout the year.

Current opening hours are normally 9am to 6pm. Use is free for resident guests and there is currently no requirement to book a session.

The Blackdown Hills begin around Otter Falls and provide the most immediate option for walking, cycling and countryside days. Woodland, farmland and elevated viewpoints give visitors plenty to explore without travelling towards the coast.
