Holiday accommodation includes two and three bedroom caravans and lodges sleeping up to six guests. The current range provides choices for couples, families and friends, with private decking, self catering kitchens, heating and WiFi included across the principal accommodation types. 

Private hot tubs are available with the lodge accommodation. Two bedroom lodges sleep four, while three bedroom choices sleep six and can include ensuite facilities alongside a family bathroom. Selected lodges and caravans welcome dogs. 

Visitors can also bring touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans or tents. Electric hook up pitches are available, with an amenity building, laundry facilities and access to the children’s play area. 

The park has catch and release trout fishing, an outdoor children’s play area, a launderette and WiFi. The landscaped grounds and hillside position provide open views across the surrounding farmland and coast.

Accommodation at Whitecairn Holiday Park

Whitecairn Holiday Park offers two and three bedroom caravans and lodges sleeping between four and six guests. The range includes pet friendly and pet free accommodation, with private hot tubs available across the lodge collection. 

Two bedroom caravans and lodges generally sleep four guests. Bedroom layouts can include a main double bedroom with a twin room or two double bedrooms, depending on the accommodation selected.

Three bedroom accommodation sleeps six. Current layouts include a main double or king size bedroom with two twin rooms, or a combination of double, twin and bunk bedrooms. Selected lodges also have an ensuite shower room alongside the family bathroom. 

Each holiday home has an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. Current facilities include a cooker, refrigerator, microwave and television, with dishwashers and washing machines available in selected lodge accommodation. 

The caravans have side decking, while the lodges provide furnished verandas. Private hot tubs are positioned within the outdoor lodge area, giving guests space to enjoy the surrounding countryside and Luce Bay views. 

Bed linen and duvets are included, with beds prepared before arrival. Towels are also supplied with lodge bookings. The accommodation is double glazed and centrally heated, and gas and electricity are included. 

Selected caravans and lodges welcome dogs, with the permitted number depending on the accommodation booked. WiFi is available throughout the current holiday range. 

Touring and camping visitors can choose electric pitches for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. These bookings include access to the park’s amenity block, laundry and children’s play area.

Places to Visit Near Whitecairn Holiday Park

Glenluce is approximately one and a half miles from Whitecairn. The village stands beside the Water of Luce and provides local shops and access to surrounding countryside routes.

Glenluce Abbey is approximately five to ten minutes away. Visitors can explore much of the Cistercian abbey, grounds, museum and visitor centre, although conservation work can affect access to individual sections. 

Luce Bay has several sandy beaches and coastal routes within a short drive. Sandhead and the surrounding shoreline provide space for beach visits, walks and views across the bay towards the Mull of Galloway.

Castle Kennedy Gardens is approximately 20 minutes away. Its 75 acres include landscaped gardens, woodland, lochs, walking routes, a tearoom and family events on selected dates. 

Stranraer is approximately 20 to 25 minutes from the park. The town has supermarkets, independent shops, cafés, restaurants and a waterfront overlooking Loch Ryan.

Portpatrick is approximately 30 to 35 minutes away. Visitors can explore the harbour, coastal paths, shops, pubs and restaurants before walking sections of the surrounding Rhins of Galloway coastline.

Kirroughtree is approximately 30 to 35 minutes from Whitecairn. The visitor centre provides access to woodland walks, mountain bike trails and the wider Galloway Forest Park. 

The Mull of Galloway is approximately 45 to 50 minutes away. Visitors can climb Scotland’s most southerly lighthouse, explore its exhibition and walk through the adjoining RSPB nature reserve.
