Lodges are more spacious and luxurious, the Emerald Lodges are 16ft wide, equipped with modern amenities like a 40-inch TV in the living room and a 22-inch TV in the main bedroom. You can explore Brodick Castle and Gardens located on the east coast of the island, there are formal gardens, waterfalls and an adventure playground for children to enjoy. A visit to Culzean Castle is a great day out, it is perched on the Ayrshire cliffs. Originally, the home of the Marquess of Ailsa, the chief of Clan Kennedy, this castle is now a treasure of the National Trust for Scotland.
