Overview of Sundrum Castle Holiday Park

Sundrum Castle Holiday Park is a peaceful and secluded Parkdean Resort Holiday Park tucked away and surrounded by mature woodlands, yet only 6 miles away from the popular coastal town of Ayr in the southwest of Scotland. Which has a lot to offer including a beautiful sandy beach, esplanade and golf courses. That's correct! Ayr boasts three golf courses. It's also synonymous with the famous Robert Burns having been born in nearby Alloway so a visit to the nearby Robert Burns Birthplace Museum should not be missed. A visit to The Isle of Aarron is highly recommended for a day out as is a day at the races at the Ayr Racecourse.

The holiday park itself has 19 caravan types which sleep from 6 to 8 people, with both pet friendly and accessible options to choose from. All of these have fully fitted kitchens with optional extras such as outdoor furnished living areas and ensuite shower rooms. There are also grass and hard standing pitches for those who prefer camping and touring.

There is a great deal of facilities to keep all members of the family entertained during a stay here on the Ayrshire coast. Including a great many indoor activities for both toddlers and children, some of these include kids’ discos and messy play. Sticking with indoor activities there's a fantastic indoor swimming pool complete with a flume ride and an amusement arcade. Outside there is an adventure playground and golf course, areas to play football and cricket and a multi sports court.

Catch live acts at the entertainment venue, grab a takeaway meal or choose to sit in the bar and restaurant to enjoy a lovely family meal and refreshing drinks. There's a convenience store, laundrette, in venue Wi-Fi and a shower block for those who are touring.

Besides the accommodation to rent for the week or two there are also new and used holiday homes to look at if holiday home ownership is something that you have always considered.
