The Golden Oak includes a private hot tub, log burner and a barbecue on the outdoor living area. It comes in either a 2 or 3 bedroom layout and is suitable for up to 6 visiting guests. The Golden Oak Hideaway which offers similar facilities is more compact with only 1 bedroom and is suitable for individuals or couple retreats.

Theres the Silver Birch Compact which has 2 bedrooms and sleeps up to 4 guests whilst the Silver Birch has 2 to 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 guests. The Wheelchair adapted Silver Birch cabins have 2 bedrooms, a wet room, accessible lowered kitchen areas and has a hot tub access hoist for the outdoor private hot tub.

Places to visit nearby to Cropton

Walking and cycling options around this forestry area are a plenty. If walking is your thing, then a good place to start would be the visitor centre at Dalby Forest where you could pick up lots of information and advice on suitable routes including the Rosedale trail or the Bridestones trail where you can experience diverse landscapes including sandstone rock formations, forest trails and picturesque moorlands. 

Dalby Forest is also a fantastic spot for mountain bikers as it offers a wide range of routes to test your off-road skills. Very nearby to Cropton is a stable which offers a choice of horse-riding sessions to choose from including hacks across the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.

Fly through the forest on an exhilarating zip line adventure and enjoy the scenery at speed all around you at nearby Keldy Forest. That’s if you can keep your eyes open!
