Places to Visit Near Angrove Country Park

Great Ayton is the nearest village and can be reached within approximately three minutes by car. Its centre has independent shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs beside the River Leven.

The village is closely connected with Captain James Cook, who spent part of his childhood there. Visitors can explore the Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum, the memorial garden and local walking routes towards Captain Cook’s Monument.
